Obese children are more likely to grow into obese adults resulting in an extreme burden on a health care system that is already struggling to keep Americans healthy. Because most kids eat at least one meal at school, congress is considering banning French fries and other unhealthy foods from school lunchrooms. Children as constantly hit vending machines at schools for sugary sodas and candy. But, schools alone can not combat childhood obesity.
