Lack of Sleep Likely Cause of Childhood Obesity

A recent study conducted by Northwestern University finds that children who don't get enough sleep are at a higher risk of being overweight.
"A study followed 2,000 kids for five years, and found that kids who get just one extra hour of sleep are four to 6% less likely to be overweight. They also found that the kids who were getting more sleep overall weighed less at the end of the five year study."

Are you joking? This looks like the same crap where the parents are looking for an excuse because their poor parenting has resulted in a fatty. I cheer the good people in Britain who are looking at taking that fat bastard away from his mother. If you can't control your kid give them up for adoption there are a lot of good parents out there who will raise the kid right.
